Stephen was called to the bar in 2016 and joined Forget Smith in 2022. His practice centers on insurance defence litigation, including accident benefits disputes, third party liability claims, subrogation and loss transfer matters. Stephen is a pragmatic, creative thinker who leverages his considerable experience to obtain optimum results for clients. Since his call to the bar, he has appeared frequently before the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Superior Court of Justice and the Small Claims Court. Stephen obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto in 2011 before earning a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria in 2015. For the last several years, Stephen has volunteered his time to mentor undergraduate students in the Osgoode Cup Moot.
