Mai was called to the Ontario bar in 2011 and joined ForgetSmith in 2020. She brings over 10 years of litigation experience and is able to offer a broad range of insurance litigation services to her clients. She has significant experience prosecuting subrogated matters and defending an array of claims including serious casualty, property, construction, product liability, no-fault (accident benefits) claims and CGL (commercial general liability) matters. Mai also has experience defending speciality insurance lines including claims against municipalities, the police, educational institutions and other public authorities.

Mai is sensible and practical in her approach to advocacy and is able to effectively leverage her skills and experience to secure the best results for her clients. She is comfortable conversing in both official languages and often represents French speaking insureds.

Mai received her J.D. from the University of Windsor. Prior to law school she obtained a Bachelor of Arts (in Philosophy) and Bachelor of Science (in Biochemistry).
