Julia Falevich

Julia maintains a practice focused on advocacy on behalf of insurers. She has extensive civil litigation and commercial arbitration experience, gained at two of Canada’s national law firms. Prior to joining Forget Smith, Julia’s litigation practice encompassed a broad range of subject matter, including construction, commercial, nuclear and environmental matters. Julia has particular expertise with construction litigation, having acted for different players in the construction pyramid, including owners, general contractors, suppliers, mortgagees and design professionals. 

Julia has appeared before various levels of court and is a regular contributor to several publications, including The Advocates’ Quarterly. 

Julia is fluent in Russian. She was called to the bar in 2003.
